Rinse off the solution using clear, lukewarm water by wetting the stained carpet fibers and vacuum to remove the excess moisture. After a while, use a vacuum cleaner to dry it further. Apply this solution to the stained area using a cloth and repeat until no stain is transferred to the cloth. Wet the area with a solution that is a mixture of white vinegar and lukewarm water and apply it to the stained area. Blot the area dry, by placing a couple of paper towels and leave it to air dry.
